The Giant’s Causeway is a World Heritage Site located in Northern Ireland. Legend has it that Finn MacCool, a mythical Irish giant, built the causeway to get to Scotland so that he could battle with a rival giant called Benandonner. The area is made up of around 40,000 interlocking basalt columns which were created after a volcanic eruption.
